For I have ransomed you, I have called you by name; you are mine..

I have been summoned by name and called in love; I am not my own for I have been carried with worth. I am a co-heir with Christ, my place is victory, my identity is truth, and my purpose is love. He has overcome this world and we have the honor of victory that is more great than how vast this world may seem. I am finished in Christ Jesus; no more debt to pay. Even if this world plagues you with all sorts of troubles and pain understand you are more then all of what you feel, you are made in the image of Love, and it overcomes. It is free and it never fails. When you fail it is always outside of His love, you fail, and it moves you to know His love as the only. The only Life abundance, the only Truth all encompassing, the only Way to eternal everlasting.

“I am transferring you from glory unto glory and the darkness amongst the trees is to keep your heart within the light of Me. The glory and My light pave the road less traveled; it is the road of Love. It is a road many do not travel but a road so light that you couldn’t help but wander. The side is a place where My glory dwells and in times you may stop to embrace it but not in a way that makes you entrapped to get lost. Come here, because I want every desire, every passion, I want your life, and even then I want all that you hide behind that deters you from having life everlasting. You My beloved are not your own; I have summoned you by name; you are Mine.”

Jesus isn’t a part of my life. Jesus is my life.

My breath sighs for the One who made me.
My heart drums the beat of life He bestowed upon me.

He knew me first. He loved me first.

He gave me everything.
I have nothing of my own. I am nothing apart from Him.

He is my sunrise and my sunset. He is, was, and will forever be the only one for me.

Please try to understand that He is the reason behind my decisions, even if they may not make sense to you. To you, the way I choose to live may seem crazy and absurd. But I live it because it is the only way I was created to live. I’m here to love Him. Even if that means tearing down my current self in order to let Him rebuild me. Even if that means being honest with myself and with the world. Even if that means getting uncomfortable. To tell you the truth, I would do anything for you to see Him too, the way I do. More than anything, I want you to know how important He is and how much He cares for you. I know if you look for Him you will find Him! He is all around you! His beauty is in the ones you love. The wonderful qualities of your fellow human beings who give up themselves to show acts of kindness radiate His goodness. His beauty is in the forests and the deserts and the mountains, in all the living creatures alike. Can you see Him? You’ve seen His symbol, the Cross, I’m sure. Maybe you’ve heard of His book. Take a look at His life: what He did, what He said, what He claimed to be. Can you see how much He has sacrificed for you?

That man, He is my Jesus. I live my life knowingly, that everything happens according to His purpose. I don’t mean to offend you. I don’t want to make myself appear better than you because I’m not. I still need a lot of help. Sin is a big bully to wrestle with. I can’t do it alone, but I have a mighty God behind me. I’ll never give up the fight. As long as He is my rock, I know my soul will stand stronger in this fleshly shell.

Please try to understand.
I’m still learning how to love, even a fraction of how much He loves.
I promise where I falter in loving you, He will always pick up the slack hundredfold.
I just pray that you will see Him, you will love Him too ❤

cebu 2010..

Before i head to the airport for our nine hour flight to the Philippines, i wanted to give a BIG shout out to God everything He’s down in my life. How time and time again, His unfailing love helps me overcome trial after trial. And let me tell you, God wants to do the same for you…you just need to draw near.

2 Corinthians 3:17

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

For the next three weeks, our mission team will be doing campus ministry, leadership development, worship seminars and a whole lot of awesome stuff for God. If you may, please hold our team in prayer and these are a few of the prayer points:

• God’s traveling mercy on planes, car rides, and etc;
• God’s will over the lives of the people in Cebu, Philippines
• God’s favor in the education departments, government, communities;
• Raising up of leaders in the church and growth of disciples;
• Unity between Team Cebu and pastoral staff/leadership @ Victory Cebu;
• God’s protection over any type of sickness/ailments between now and the end of our trip

2 Corinthians 5:6-8

“Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. ⁷We live by faith, not by sight. ⁸We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.”

Even if we’re going on a trip to change lives, remember that you don’t need to go on a mission trip to evangelize to those who do not yet know God. That can be done at your work, home, campus, etc.
