Good Friday

He made you filled with beauty because He is beauty and paid a price through the blood He bore.

“It wasn’t nails but love, that held Jesus to the cross. He nailed down our salvation for eternity.”

We want our darkness and sin so much more than this. We want this world far greater then we want His Kingdom. Daily we spit in His face over and over again, we reject His heart and turn to the heart of sin. He still remains, He still remains love, He still remains love for you. You were created in His image therefore you were made to be one in His love.

You were made to be love in Him. We create masks over ourselves because we do not realize how beautiful we are, nothing is more beautiful then the original you. We clothe ourselves with sin and we label it as who we are. He tears away our cloth and then shows us who He has created us as.. far past this.. into our true identity. When someone loves you past your armor, you will perceive them to be a savior. He loves past the cracks of your armor, enough for you to not ever want it again. Jesus had not come into the world to condemn but to save. To save you from the life you are living, to save you from the path you are on that is leading to death.

He has not condemned because He already paid the price you could not pay yourself. He loves you because He is love, you can not stop Him from being. nothing on this earth will ever complete you. nothing on this earth will make you wholly satisfied. We search for what has been standing in front of us all along, we pridefully believe that we have understood it enough to not need Him. Only until you realize your need for Him will you be able to accept Him. Allow Him to awaken your eyes to the truth of His heart, that you may see past what you have known into what is.

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
